Fellow blue collar workers it is time we united and went after our government for tortious interference with our ability to earn a decent living. This is a blue collar recession we are in. Unemployment among college grads is 4.5%. Go to the Department of Labor’s website and review the unemployment levels by industry. Housing and construction are devastated yet most other industries are down much less. The illegals make up 12.4% of our workforce. Are there many illegals that are lawyers? How about doctors? Nurses? CPAs? Teachers? Government Employees?

With a fair & firm immigration policy and even a modicum of enforcement of the immigration laws our wages would be 25%-50% higher. Economics 101….wqhat there is a shortage of costs a lot more. We have a shortage in this country of native born (i’m not talking the original native born) Americans. How many guys and gals do you know that want to work in the cold? In the rain? In the blazing sun? What are you really worth for being willing to work under those conditions. If everyone had to use a porta-potty do you think the OJ trial would have taken place at all? Not on your life. What about if they all had to sit in the rain or snow or cold or blazing sun? Not on your life. We do it every day and with so many of our peers wanting to work in AC and sit behind a desk shouldn’t we be properly remunerated for what we do. Bet your ass we should be. And we would be if simple economics and “free market forces” were allowed to shape the wage levels of contstruction workers.

But our Government through us a curve, it allowed millions of destitute and desparate pairs of hands to invade us from the south and turned a blind eye while thousands of unprofessional, unethical small businessmen and big business managers hired illegals at artificially reduced wages and undercut what we should rightfully be earning.

I am no left wing nut. I am somewhat to the right of the John Birch Society. I am not a labor activist, I have owned my own plumbing contracting business since 1974. I was the OWNER of a union shop for over 25 years. I am a plumber first and a business owner second. I consider myself to be a PROFESSIONAL. Illegals and my own government make it harder and hrder each year for me to be able to pay my employees what they deserve and what they are worth.

All the talking heads on the business talk shows babble about free markets. Where are the free markets when it comes to blue collar labor. The deck is being stacked.

The average illegal worker costs the taxpayers $20,000/yr in subsidies. The average work year is 2,000 hrs guys and gals. That means we are subsidizing illegals to the tune of $10/hr. Add the $10/hr to what the farmers pay illegals and I’ll bet we could get some “good ole’ boys” to pick them there heads of lettuce in the San Jauquin Valley. What do you think? The illegals aren’t taking the jobs American workers won’t do…….they are taking the jobs American businessment won’t pay for because they can get the Government to subsidize the low wages they are willing to pay.

Prominent right wing corporate types complain about Obama’s policies of wealth transfer. What do you call the S&L bailout of the early 90s? That was a transfer of wealth from the middle class to the owners of the bailed out institutions. What do you call the bailout of Wall Street this time around? That was a transfer of wealth from the middle class to the Wall Street tycons that are “connected” and can get their turn at the trough.

This is ALL BS ladies and gents.

It is time we united and filed suit against our government. The facts speak for themeselves and I do not believe we will have a great deal of difficulty proving our case. The facts and statistics that we need to support our case are being published every day and every day we get more and more evidence that our elected officials are NOT living up to their sworn oaths to uphold and defend the laws of our land.

LET’S GET GOING.

The average Government worker earns over $70,000 year and has a $20.00/hr benefit package on top of that. Are YOU earning that? So I guess you want to pay good wages, you just don’t want to GET good wages. And how bright are you?

An opinion from a “white collar” public health employee in Mexifornia. My family immigrated years ago from Poland & Russia.
I am NO fan of Obama. But I would just like to add, if I may, that GW Bush left our borders wide open after 9/11. And he really helped to aid illegal immigration from Mexico. And his “people” were the insurance elite & we’ve needed health insurance reform for a long time. And he & his family seem to have been close comrads with the Saudis who enforce Wahabbism & finance extremism.
I would say that the destruction of our nation has been ongoing but is happening much faster now. In public health I work with kids with disabilities in a predominantly Mexican area. Most of the kids are born in the US to illegal aliens (”anchor babies”), but a few have been smuggled across the border or overstayed visas. The families love their kids & I feel for them. However, I also feel for our citizens & think we need our laws to be enforced. There is no talk in CA about billing Mexico for the expensive medical care & durable medical equipment we provide to the kids in CA illegally.
We really don’t know exactly who is coming across the borders anymore. But we can make an educated guess that there must be a large amount of jihadists just waiting for their opportunity. Just living among us. Many of our citizens are asleep.
I would say to study Bible prophecy. I think what’s happening is that we are headed towards the one world gov’t (globalism) & subsequent regions discussed in the Bible. The Bible scholars that I listen to do not think the US is mentioned in Biblical end times prophecy. So what exactly does that mean? I’m not sure. We do know that Israel is very much in Biblical end times prophecy & you can see how the world, including our nation, is turning against Israel.
I think standing up against this mosque is also standing up FOR the God of Abraham, Isaac, & Jacob who gave his only Son, Jesus/Yeshua, for us.
I don’t think we can really change much of what is happening in our country. I think God is letting it happen as prophesied that it would. I think we just need to have FAITH until the end. And listen to the teachers & preachers who teach the Biblical TRUTH. People like David Regan, Mark Hitchcock, Jacob Prasch, Jack Hibbs try to teach the truth (whether there will really be a pre-tribulation rapture I’m not sure, but for sure great tribulation is coming). Some of those “Bible thumpers” have been right all along.
So yes, we should stand up against things we know are wrong, but also know that we might not be able to change much. We DO have control over how much we ask God for His help, & know that His Will is to be done.

As a legal immigrant and former blue collar worker I have seen the devastation and destruction wrought by illegal immigrants. My first job was as an electrician in Texas, the company I worked for refused to hire illegals only Americans or those who had legal alien resident cards (Green Card)
Other companies owned by Mexicans who had be given amnesty in 86 by Reagan hired their ‘Brothers, Cousins’ basically only illegal aliens, and tried to drive us out of the market place by low ball bidding and paying slave labor wages, their purpose was to get rid of American companies then they could set their own prices…
Fortunately for us we managed to get ICE to raid them at their offices and yards after providing video proof (We had a 6th generation American Hispanic Brother infiltrate them, then tape and video them bragging about the gringo’s)
The raid netted nearly 60 illegals including their payroll, administration and supply people.
The end result was they lost their contracts which helped us.
To finish a lot of these companies that hire them do not check their legality, do not care, they just want the money, these SOB’s are the worst kind, traitors to their own people..
