Bay Terrace Brawl/ Shumer Police and Democratic Wall

People are talking about the district 23 race in upstate New York but that’s nothing compared to district 19. Dan Halloran vs. Kevin Kim is a tabloid dream election. In Dan’s corner you have Senator Marty Golden, Ex Governor George Pataki, former congressman Rick Lazio who officially announced his bid for governor of New York with Blue Collar Corner and the former mayor of the country Rudy Giuliani all came out to stump for Halloran. In Kevin’s corner you have Mario Cuomo former governor and current Senator Chuck Shumer came out for Kim.

Well today in Bayside at the Bayside Terrace Mall Kim supporters gathered to rally for their man and the Halloran camp got wind of it and crashed the party as was their right considering that the Kim camp had no permit. The confrontation was heated and passionate with signs of both support and ones of protest. The sparks really started to fly when Halloran voters challenged Kim’s legitimacy of his residence and his scant voting record within the community. Also was the attacks by the Kim camp on the man’s religion and that in one of his pamphlets they were coded messages of racism. Dan’s answer to these charges was simply that they were adhering to typical Democratic acts of diversion due to their lack of focus on the issues of the district and their loyalty to the big special interest groups that have funded the Kim campaign. John Liu attended( our famous sweat shop success story) that his own mother actually denied. Hey come to think of it John could be the original balloon boy sorry Falcon your out!

Before the cops broke up the party Chuck Shumer showed and all were granted a reprieve. After all how would that have looked. It fascinates me with all the reading Chucky has to do with the Nancy Pelosion of a Health Care Bill he managed to take time out to  thrill the crowd of tens with state issued platitudes with no specifics.

Being fairly new to this arena I was blown away by the fact when I attempted to question one of the Kim people I was met with a total wall of silence accompanied by : he’s with Halloran don’t talk to him. Even as NYone was conducting an interview I piggybacked my mic on theirs with no resistance. Afterward I pleaded with Mr. Kim for 30 seconds of his time and as soon as I began a staffer came over and said no ! not him! and whisked Mr. Kim away.

I wanted to give Mr. Kim equal time with BCC but they refused. I always try to conduct myself with total professionalism and would have been honored to interview Mr. Kim. It looks awful for him if he only talks to media that clearly pull left yet this is a pattern created by today’s White House I.E. FOX NEWS.

I must tell you there was a young man named Matt Bishop who to his credit and maturity spoke with us and was quite pleasant and I wish that man well he put to shame all the other so-called pundits. I am officially extending to Mr. Kim another shot at a honest interview with no hidden gotcha moments just  some blue collar conversation with a blue collar guy.

It was a great victory for freedom of expression and religious liberty in America today! Congradulations to all who participated in this spontaneous protest put together the night before. At first we were told to leave, we have no permit. But we overcame the police “barracades” of verbal threats and spoke out with our signs and voices in protest of the dirty campaign tactics of Kevin Kim and socialist policies of John Liu, Chuck Schumer and the other political hacks who came to the rally expecting a nice quiet photo op with Kim, but instead were inundated with dozens of loud protesting voices for liberty. As we chanted “Schumer’s gotta go!” he seemed to cut his speech short and probably thought it was a mistake to come down to endorse this two bit politican to have his own name dragged through the mud.

I even spoke to a few people from the Kim camp about Dan Halloran’s credentials and the issues which they knew nothing about and were complaining that they had no time to properly vet the candidates. Well, we did a lighning job of properly vetting the dirty politics of the Kevin Kim campaign and their un-American religious inquisition on Dan Halloran’s minority religious affiliation to score political points with the voters. How vulgar and dishonest and anti-American! We let them know in no uncertain terms that we are a grassroots force to be reckoned with and we are disgusted with dirty politics as usual and we’ll be back in 2010 when their turn is next up. We are looking forward to the videos of the event. Great work, team!!!

NY 1 ignored our side of the story. All they showed was Kevin Kim being interviewed. They didn’t ask him about the pamphlet he distributed attacking Dan’s religion. I thought in this country we had freedom of religion. You wouldn’t even had known Chuck Schumer was there today. I’m sick and tired of this liberal main stream media in this country.
