Five republicans were sworn in at City Hall by our 3rd term mayor. This was the biggest influx of Republicans in the Council in 10 years.

They included Vincent Ignizio and James Oddo of S.I. and from Queens were Eric Ulrich, Peter Koo and the hometown favorite Dan Halloran.

The mayor told everybody in the chamber he was looking forward to working with these five young men not as republicans, democrats or independents but as New Yorkers. Being at the swearing in I thought I saw a wink of sarcasm from our former republican mayor.

There is a bit of drama surrounding this Council. The speaker Christine Quinn who is expected to win a second term has a Mr. Charles Barron a Democrat from Queens looking to challenge her. Mr. Barron is famous for his temper and recently had a heated confrontation with CUNY trustee JefferyWiesenfeld. The mere fact that he is supported by the Rev. Al Sharpton is enough to discredit him.

I feel that the tide is changing and the people will not tolerate this ever-growing government with its reckless spending, borrowing and taxing. It has already begun all one has to do is to look at the smaller races to see the masses are unhappy and they want change all right just not the one Obama sold us.

Who’s more dangerous? The liberal or the terrorist.

Obama and Napolitano. Not exactly the names that instill fear in the hearts of America’s enemies. Suspect, extremist and isolated incident. These are not the words I would use to describe a person whose very purpose is to commit mass murder.

Our terrorist coddling liberals are more concerned about bestowing Miranda and Constitutional rights to these Islamic Jihadists who are hell bent on the destroying us and our way life. When you are in your private moments in your golf cart or in the green room at Letterman can you say those words because it certainly seems clear you are incapable of even uttering the words in public making it impossible for you to protect us against something you cannot even say?

Unfortunately this will not be the end of such attacks. I wrote about this ten months ago and warned every nauseating progressive to get ready this community organizer not only is emboldening the Jihadists but is helping them by going after the people that keep us safe( C.I.A., Navy Seals and every branch of the military)giving these mass murdering scum the thumbs up to kill us.

Remember when Bush was out there with his bull horn on top of a pile of rubble, twisted steel and death. I don’t know why but without knowing this new President I felt he would remain strong and cash out all his political capital if need be to keep us safe. At moments like that he brought the whole country together even that turret’s syndrome meth addict Carville told his lib army to support the President. Hell, I almost felt sorry for the enemy at that point but not really.

Give me my The Cowboy and Darth Vader any day of the week.

I never want to go to the level of the liberal so it was brought to my attention that my previous quote of Mr. Lincoln in my last blog was incorrect. A reader messaged me and alerted me to the fact that it was written by a man named Rev. William Boetcker in the early 20th century. It was later reprinted by Ann Landers no less and quoted in a speech by R. Reagan and was read into the Congressional Record. So the source was wrong and for that I am sorry but the message in it is no less accurate.

It has also been reported that this man had military training in Yemen with the forces of Al Queda for months. Nigerian Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab’s own father a Nigerian banker we learned had warned the American Embassy of his son’s radical rantings and should be watched that coupled with the fact that he was on a federal “Watch List”

Keep blowing up the government with all your reckless spending Barry meanwhile the attacks are occuring on our own soil and you who’s on T.V. more than any President in history is all of the sudden doing a Tiger Woods.

Well it’s been a year of record disapproval numbers by our freshman President. Never before has a President came onto the scene with such expectations and high ratings to absolutely implode in his first year of service. I think the most problamatic of all his misteps was his perception of being a moderate. That was the reason he won the election. His seemingly level headed approach to matters gave most comfort. Skeptics like myself were not buying it at all. I knew the real Obama would emerge but man! I didn’t think this fast and hard. Soon as he took office closing Gitmo, passing that useless Stimulus of a bill, the Cap and Trade bill, take overs of the Banks, Insurance Co.’s and Big Labor and this attempt to dismantle the greatest health care system on earth. All the while running around the world apologizing and begging, borrowing and bowing to every little despot with a title was disgraceful. As world leaders dumped on him he took it with no response giving the perception of a weak spineless academic with no idea how to lead or govern.

Teresa Heinz Says She’s Fighting Breast Cancer

BOSTON (Dec. 23) — Teresa Heinz says she is being treated for breast cancer discovered through mammography and argues that younger women should continue undergoing the tests despite a federal panel’s recent recommendation to reduce their frequency.

The 71-year-old wife of the 2004 Democratic presidential nominee, Sen. John Kerry, of Massachusetts, told The Associated Press that the cost of mammography is far lower than the physical and personal tolls women ages 40 to 60 face if their cancer goes undetected early and they later have to be treated with aggressive chemotherapy.

Here’s a Democrat championing on behalf of what ObamaCare will absolutely take away, but only because it now affects her.

She is now going to receive the very care that her asshole Democrat husband is voting to take away from people her age.

Every doctor I speak to is not happy about the lack of malpractice reform or commonly known tort reform. I know lawyers write it but I don’t think anyone is thinking this through especially the lawyers. If a government option is created then private firms will disappear and soon the government will be the only ones out there in charge of everything from drugs to treatments and care. Finally buying across state lines: Every liberal fool I talk to says the same thing. It’s too difficult to have the same regs for every state yet they want to turn the whole entire system upside down. My first VCR cost over a thousand dollars. I bought one with a DVD player a month ago for 60 dollars. Why? Free market it works every time. We have 1,700 different private insurance companies nationwide open the boarders and prices will nosedive at a cost of ZERO!

Boy they did it this time. All the secrecy backroom wheeling and dealing and outright threats and bribery it seems the soon to be former Administration is sending the American people their official resignation in the form of a conglomerate of waste, stupidity and more governmental agencies that will most certainly be the judge , jury and interloper between you and your doctor.

I must admit to all I am relieved to find out that this 2,000 + page bill is going through. Not that I am for this ” reform” of the greatest health care system on planet earth it’s just I was looking at the consequences if we did stop it. First the DNC and it’s propaganda machine would be on the warpath to paint the GOP as the obstructionists party and party of NO and we hate seniors and poor people and cut the heads off of immigrant babies and play polo with their freshly decapitated skulls. By this elephant of legislation going through they will wear it around their necks like an over sized sewer cap. Especially when we have several years of paying for this nightmare before anything of a reform or change begins to be implemented. We cannot let this go unnoticed.

The next fight is with our votes and our protests and the very powerful D.C. rally. This rally must be in the millions. We must make it so huge that they can’t media spin it into a Yoko Ono concert. (Not alot of Y.O. fans get it? sorry I’ll stop) you know what I mean. Even libs like Olberman and Stewart will have to finally report the correct number and then maybe Obama will follow Clinton’s lead and abandon this H.C. nightmare and finally concentrate on the damn economy.
