Irene All Bark and a Little Bite

August 29th, 2011 1 comment

I took some pictures of the Irene aftermath and though it didn’t pack the wallop that was being sold it was disturbing to see such things so far north on the east coast.

Bloomberg I’m sure was gun shy since the “Blizzard of  Death” totally showed him as a disconnected elitist radical leftist. Well ol’ 3rd termer made sure he wasn’t caught with his pants down on this one. He did everything but bring the National Guard down for this Hurricane. Yes it is better to be over-prepared then to be caught short-handed…but if he thinks this wipes the slate clean he definitely has another thing coming.

It is a disgrace the stand he took during the entire Ground Zero debate and the fact that after recieving the “Leader of the Year ” by GQ magazine he said concerning the furor over the Ground Zero Mosque that it was ” fabricated by a election cycle and a 24 hr news loop”. This is what New Yorkers will remember about this little raisin of a man. It will be great to see him GO!

Bachmann Takes Ames Straw Poll

August 14th, 2011 No comments

Bachmann takes it! It was a little bit of a shock to me to be honest. I thought that the cat fight Pawlenty and her had would have hurt them both but after Pawlenty pulling out and Bachmann winning it just goes to show you can’t predict politics.

After my first speech I nearly totally lost my voice. It was probably one of the most challenging speeches I have ever given. Not because of the large crowd but because everyone was concentrating on the other side of the grounds at Santorum and Bachmann. It was very difficult to draw the crowd my way but after some coaxing I managed to peel away a few and finish fairly strong.

I must tell you I had a wonderful time. All of these like-minded Americans coming together to serve the greater good of this nation. That great line in the movie ” Field of Dreams” when “shoeless Joe Jackson” says to the Kevin Costner charachter – ” Is this Heaven”? and Costner responds: “It’s Iowa” summed up my experience there in Iowa. I think I might have gained ten pounds in 3 days! If I got cut I would probably bleed BBQ sauce.

Here I have several interviews that I think you will enjoy especially the one with Rick Santorum who really impressed me.

I felt bad for Pawlenty’s poor showing I actually met him at Red Lobster and he was a total class act and I wished him well. This morning I heard of him dropping out and really felt for the guy.

Blue Collar Corner goes to Iowa

August 8th, 2011 No comments

It is my honor to go to the Iowa Straw Poll in Ames this weekend on so many levels. Of course I will be reporting on everything I can get my microphone in the middle of but I do have this amazing opportunity to speak for the Tea Party.

After I attend the Debate I will be speaking on Saturday at 10am and at 2 pm. I have no idea what to expect and am like a little kid going to Disney World. I know things look bad right now but I believe that this crisis will unite us in a way where actual things will get done and resolved.

This is a picture I took of Obama myself. It was downtown when he came to pitch his massive financial platform legislation. The fact that I managed to get in was a great story in itself but the thing that really disturbed me was I caught a glimpse at these guys behind the curtain. Democrat – Republican and the like and the first thing that came to mind was professional wrestling. Rivals on the mat and good buddies in the locker room. Like this is one big Show for public consumption and it will always be us against them. Well with this election year approaching it is time to say we are done with this Washington Monopoly Game and “Enough is Enough”!

Stay Tuned see ya in Ames, Iowa!
