One of the many subjects we covered with Congressman King was the blatant hypocrisy of the ” Zadroga Bill”. This was a bill named after James Zadroga who died due to complications of being a first responder to the Attacks of 911.

Have any of these self righteous pols consider the mental cruelty done by supporting the building of the Ground Zero Mosque? In most cases this mental abuse manifests itself in things like manic depression, domestic violence, substance abuse and addictions. These illnesses are not easily remedied with medicine and care. No sometimes people live their entire lives with no relief at all regardless of their treatment.

The most ironic thing of all is the fact that James Zadroga of whom the bill was named died due to his pill addiction….not because of the sickness caused by the toxicity of working the “Pile “at Ground Zero. Addiction is an illness of the mind something the Zadroga Bill does not address. It is inaccurate when I hear the preamble when talking about the 911 Attacks ….The place where almost 3 thousand people were murdered… well people are dying everyday due to the attacks on that sunny morning and it continues to occur today. So when I hear elected officials say they support both Zadroga and the GZ Mosque I know it is for political aspirations and nothing else.
