The cheers from Massapequa Park, Long Island could be heard from here to the home office of Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf in Malaysia. Americans have woken up and Pete King is leading the charge against a rule of law that threatens our American way of life – called Shariah. How disappointed the organizers of the anti-Pete King campaign must have been. We more than doubled their numbers and as far as ethnic backgrounds, ours was actually more diverse than theirs! Each day as Americans educate themselves on this political ideology, they see its dangerous and are driven to act. It is the union construction worker, it is the Tea Party member, the senior citizen and former Muslims who have come to America to enjoy her freedoms and liberties.

I must tell you, after the dozens of rallies, protests and public speaking events all around the country, this could have been the most encouraging event that I have ever attended. This was not organized or subsidized. This was American citizenry at work like never before. I do believe that we are at a tipping point and not the one that Imam Rauf is talking about. According to Rauf, he believes our children and grandchildren will be Muslims within the next decade. He couldn’t be more wrong! Ladies and Gentlemen, what you have witnessed today is the turning point in the movement. This is the beginning of the end of Political Correctness and not a moment too soon. People and politicians alike are no longer afraid to be labeled racist, bigot or hate monger. Reason being? The American people know it’s not true. The day the truth becomes hate speech is the day America no longer exists and we are very far from that day.

We, the undersigned, call on President Obama to announce his opposition to the implementation of Shariah Islamic law in any of our corridors of government, be it local, state, or federal.

We ask this at this moment in history when there are clamors arising from certain influential members of the Islamic community here in America and abroad suggesting that the implementation of Shariah law in America is necessary for the exercise of Islamic religious freedom.  As is known, Shariah not only is harmful to those who must abide by it, but also is contrary to the evolved wisdom and values of Western Civilization and the character of our country since its founding. 

The implementation of Shariah will affect all of American citizens and deny them their rights to live under their Constitution, our American civic heritage. We ask that the President, who has sworn to uphold the U.S. Constitution, affirm his loyalty to that Constitution and his right to hold office based on the Constitution, by publicly proclaiming, without hesitation or confusion, his stance against any form of the imposition of Shariah law in America, no matter how small or insignificant and against even its voluntary acceptance by those in the Islamic community.

Well a picture speaks a thousand words and I’m sure if you have been following the 911 Hard Hats you know what we feel on this very hot topic. Well it’s not just here in N.Y. We were hosted down in Tampa Fla. by the 912 Group the Pinellas Patriots and Patriots they were. The Christian Action Network who have been warriors on this issue brought myself and Tim Brown of the Bravest all the way down to warn these great Americans what is happening in our country and how we can put a stop to it. The War on Terror is not just campaign that is being waged overseas by our brave soldiers but it is going on right here under our noses. In our schools places of work where we shop and worst of all in our legislative bodies and we need to stop it and stop it NOW!  Tim is a 911 Firefighter Hero who risked his life to save many others that day and has been given a hunk of Ground Zero dust in his lungs for his trouble. We had an excellent crowd of well informed Patriots who were given even more information to be aware of and I feel this was not our last trip here to these fine Americans. After we screened the Movie Sacrificed Survivors: Untold Stories Behind the Ground Zero Mega Mosque we had a spirited panel afterwards with Lt. C. Joe Klein came to report about CPAC and was nice enough to sit down with me and talk about the GZ Mosque. The argument became heated at times but was a spiritied debate for sure and of course the crowd did get a bit involved as well. As a matter of fact there was a near fist fight at the vendor line while he was getting coffee with one of the other patrons.

After her chat with Jimmy I was fortunate enough to sit down with S.E. and discuss the latest developments in the Ground Zero Mosque and it’s present status. She was such a lady and extremely sharp. It was quite encouraging to see so many young people there at CPAC participating in this great American tradition.

The former leader of the RNC Michael Steele was there and very accessible to the young students who were there in droves.

Being the 100th birthday of one of the greatest American presidents to ever live of course you know we needed a cake to honor the man himself Ronald Reagan. There was some incredible workmanship involved in this creation. You could almost feel the man’s spirit there as we listened to the possible candidates making their pitch. This was an experience I certainly will not soon forget. I have learned so much in just a short period of time. 2012 HERE WE COME!

 What a blast. CPAC is like the Conservatives Woodstock…except people are clothed not dropping acid or smoking Mother Nature. What a honor it was to be interviewed by some of the most popular Conservatives in the nation. Lars Larson, S E Cupp, Michael Koolidge, Steve Kroft  but I must tell you there was one fella who blew my doors off and that man’s name was Alan Nathan.

Alan Nathan was at CPAC with his lovely brilliant wife Jane (Smooth As) Silk and these 2 were burning up radion row and I was fortunate enough to have been interviewed by Mr. Nathan who blew my doors off. It is not often when a man can make such an impression on me at this stage of my life but Damn this guy was something else. I hope in the future I get more opportunities to work with such proffessionals because he doesn’t make you feel dumb but instead brings your game to a higher plane …almost like a Michael Jordan of radio where he improves the people around him. Truly a gift from the man upstairs.

Andy went before the City Council to support Wal Mart coming to NYC.  As you will see in the links below, Andy is not a one trick pony and schools the council on construction issues that they are clearly not educated on.

A New York City construction worker who witnessed the 9/11 terrorist attacks finds it reprehensible that the developers of the proposed Islamic mega-mosque at the Ground Zero site have obtained a grant to build their “victory mosque.”

The Lower Manhattan Development Corporation recently authorized the developers of what is now being called the “Park51″ project a grant of almost $6 million for “cultural and community enhancements.” That money comes from the Community and Cultural Enhancement Program, which was set up to fund rebuilding the area surrounding the 9/11 attacks.

Andy Sullivan is a lifelong New York City construction worker and founder of the 911 Hard Hat Pledge, which is working to prevent the mosque’s construction at the proposed location. He questions how a mosque project is eligible for federal funding.

“According to the IRS, they are a religious 501c3 charity, meaning they cannot have access to federal monies,” Sullivan points out. “No religious institution has the right to have access to federal monies.”

He is also critical of Mayor Bloomberg’s assistance to the developers.

“We have our own mayor using his commissioners, helping [developers] form the proper language when they submit all their applications,” the 911 Hard Had Pledge founder laments. “So he is coaching them and working hand-in-glove, helping them along the way to get approved for these.”
Sullivan decides that Bloomberg is more concerned with pleasing the powerful Islamic lobby groups than he is with listening to the voices of the majority of New Yorkers, who do not want the mosque to be built.
