CPAC Line-Up

State Conservative Party Chairman Mike Long today released the line-up for his 44th annual Political Action Conference, which will draw Republicans and cosnervatives from across New York to the Holiday Inn on Wolf Road.

The conference, which Long said has more people registered than ever before, will kick off Sunday at 12:30 p.m. More information is available here.

E. J. McMahon is scheduled to speak about the budget. NYC Councilman Eric Ulrich, a Queens Republican, will discuss term limits. Sheriff Adrian “Butch” Anderson will address law enforcement and newly-elected GOP senators Lee Zeldin (Long Island) and Pat Gallivan (Buffalo) will be on a panel with Assemblyman Steve McLaughlin (Melrose).

All of the newly elected Republican House members will abe on a panel to discuss their plans to change Washington.

On Monday, Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino, a GOP rising star who ousted Democratic veteran Andy Spano in 2009, will speak along with Andy Sullivan, described as a “hard hat survivor of 9/11 and Ground Zero Mosque opponent.”

Others expected to participate include: Former LG Betsy McCaughey, pro-life advocate Kathy Gallagher and the Rev. Michel Faulkner, who ran an unsuccessful challenge to Democratic Rep. Charlie Rangel last fall.

The luncheon speaker is frequent Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity fill-in Mark Steyn.

Long’s party is enjoying a high point at the moment.

After the chairman’s preferred gubernatorial candidate, former Rep. Rick Lazio, lost to Carl Paladino in last September’s GOP primary, the Conservatives got behind the Buffalo businessman, who went on to win enough votes on their line to boost them to Row C on the ballot.

In addition, the Conservatives’ message of fiscal discipline is very popular of late – so much so that Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo is starting to sound awfully like he might need to check his registration. Long is such a big fan that he has launched a robocall campaign calling on state lawmakers, particularly “liberal” Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver, to support the governor’s agenda.

LMDC Looks to Finance GZ Mosque

January 28th, 2011 No comments

My fellow Americans: Take a look at the enemy. This is the epitome of Stealth Jihad at it’s best. Media, political influence and the culprit.

The other morning, when I attended the Lower Manhattan Development Corporation meeting that was open to the public, I heard some shocking numbers concering the Deutsche Bank building that is being de-constructed at Ground Zero. You will recall this was the very same building that the NYFD declared unsafe, yet the General Contractor persisted on going forward with the work and to the horror of everyone, a fire broke out and by the end of it, 2 firefighters had lost their lives. The same contractor, Bovis, is still on the site and still permitted to complete their contract. The original price on the job was $80MM. The job to date has now run over $300MM and is still not completed.

My reason being at the meeting had nothing to do with the Deutsche Bank inferno. I was there to ask questions about Park 51′s application for $5M in funding for their cursed Mosque project. I noticed Julie Mennin from Community Board #1 was at the meeting. This immediately made me apprehensive. As the documents from Bloomberg’s office were released to the public and everyone could clearly see that Mayor Bloomberg and his commissoners were working hand in glove as a go between Park 51 and Community Board #1. The smell of rot was in the air. The next thing I hear was they were alotting $5,650,000 for Community and Cultural projects and events. Community and Cultural, these are the words that Park 51 used in the application for their $5M. It is no coincidence what this $5,650,000 was being put aside for. As the board members approve the money for the Community and Cultural projects, I jump up to ask questions. There response was “There will be no questions answered at this time”. I respond to them “Why not, why have a public meeting if you are not taking any questions? I want to know about Park 51′s application and where it stands. I think it’s very telling that you put aside the exact number that they are asking for”. I was approached by security who got in my face and told me to quiet down. It was at that point, I jumped out of my chair and got right in his face which was 6″ lower than mine, and he realized that it was time to call for back up. I yelled to Julie Mennin, “Julie, you better tell them about me. I’m not going away and I will not permit what happened with Community Board #1 and Landmarks Commisson happen here. I guarantee it”.

Stay tuned for more developments…

The 112 Delivers

January 20th, 2011 No comments

The Tea Party candidates have made their presence known. Their vote to repeal Obamacare was voted through and they have kept their promise. Maybe this whole keeping your word element will infect the rest of the House .What a nice epidemic that would be. Imagine…actually a body of elected officials acting in the best interests of their constituents. After all wasn’t this the whole idea behind our ” Founding Fathers”? Things have gotten so distorted and bent out of shape that I believe we have lost our way.

I do not want the Government to be playing such an intrusive role in my life. We really need to step back and look at our own lives and decide ….do we honestly want to replace God with Government? That is the essence of the argument. People who don’t know any better are looking for the federal Government to wet nurse us through our lives and to care for us like this giant stone Momma. Well by nature man is flawed and Government is made up of us flawed individuals who can never replace the higher power in all our lives. It doesn’t matter what faith you practice just that you have come to terms with the fact that there is a higher power who looks out for us and cares for us like no other. Free will, liberty and individual freedom of choice are gifts from our creator and are to be treasured and protected and fought for if necessary. Well I for one am very pleased to see our 112th and their first achievement. Thank You.

Andy Crashes ISNA Party in Search of Imam Rauf

January 17th, 2011 No comments

I want to let all my well wishers and those blessed people offering me prayers of protection that God has answered your prayers. Not only were the men of the ISNA  not approaching me but it looked like to me like they were afraid to. It wasn’t till I started to talk to some very sweet Muslim women that a very agitated man named Sayed confronted me and said ” What is all this anti-Islam sentiment about?  “Where am I being anti-Islam ” I replied he pointed to my red white and blue hard hat with the Twin Towers on it. I told him nose to nose” Don’t forget what country you are in friend …this is America not Mecca and these colors are welcomed anywhere on this soil” He stepped back and called for security. Now several Muslims came to back up his associate. I found the biggest guy there which was still not bigger then me and asked ” Can I help you?” The man’s name was Ahmed and he was the supposed muscle of the convention. I could tell because as he got closer to me all the others made way for him. I looked  at him with my best smile and said “ hey there Ikwan ( Brother) what can I do for you?” ” Why are you harassing our women and scaring our group leaders?” I told my new friend ” Ahmed the women started talking to me first and it was the polite thing to do to respond back to them. “I’m really not sure how you guys treat your women but I’m guessing it ain’t so good” the man’s face became a mask of rage and I began to see the whites of his cigarette-stained teeth. His chest began heaving and nostrils flaring it took all my control to keep from laughing in the man’s face.

Hotel security made their way over to the very intense crowd that began to gather around me and my new friend. The man from the hotel said to me ” You cannot be here and protest this event they have rented out the space.” I said  ” Sir, I am staying here and we are in the lobby of the Hotel. I am completely alone amongst thousands of Muslims where is my protest? I’m just having a conversation with my new friend Ahmed.”  It was at this point I thought I saw the man begin to twitch. Suddenly my manager goes right up to the Hotel security man and asked ” Do you have a problem with him being in the lobby?”  He reponds “No, we have no problems at all, what we have a problem with is hate speech.”  “What makes you think he’s spreading hate speech? Sounds like your judging him by how he looks.” Realizing he has really stepped in it he recoils back to his station knowing he is way out of his league dealing with my dear friend who is not to be trifled with.

As the entire convention started to drift towards us and the scene of the confrontation I began to loudly say “Where is Imam Rauf?!” he is not seeing anyone is the response I kept getting to which I replied “But this is his Pro Ground Zero Mosque Tour…why will he not answer questions on it?” I’m here all by myself what threat do I pose?”

After this whole incident started to break up I could hear the whispers of pssst there’s that hard hat guy and was smiling inwardly as I walked right through the entire convention on the way back to my room.

Guest Blogger: The Wiki Slap of Ahmadinejad by Courtney McNaught

January 13th, 2011 No comments

One of Julian Assange’s WikiLeaks reveals the secretive Iranian political machine of the Supreme Leaders (Ayatollahs/Revolutionary Guard) and the madman President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

Iran’s Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) met with Ahmadinejad to discuss how to deal with the Iraninan people still angered by the likely corrupt presidential election that spawned massive protests in the summer of 2009. Suprisingly, Ahmadinejad took a liberal approach stating that “the Iranian people feel suffocated” and to diffuse the situation, more personal and social freedoms should be provided along with more freedom for the Iranian press. This caused such an uproar that the Revolutionary Guard Chief of Staff Mohammed Ali Jafri said “You are wrong! (In fact) it is YOU who created this mess and now you say give more freedom to the press?!” After this outburst, Jafri followed his tirade by slapping Ahmadinejad across his face.

Ayatollah Janati tried to smooth things over between the two men creating a temporary peace that will evenutally give way to new hostilities.  However there is talk that Ahmadinejad may not be able to finish his presidential term and that the Supreme Leaders of Iran should stay out of it by not taking sides. Ahmadinejad has fired most of his senior advisors in response to the Iranian Parliament removing him from the governing board of Iran’s central bank.

With all of Iran’s political infighting, rapidly becoming a nuclear power and the Iranian youth becoming more and more “Westernized”, this country seems to be headed for an evenutal civil war. If a civil war was to break out in Iran, the Supreme Leaders will think of nothing to silence their own people quickly and violently to prove to the population of Iran that rebellion will not give way to more freedoms, it just justifiable punishments under Islamic Law (Shariah).

Dearborn = Danger for Non-Muslims

January 8th, 2011 No comments

Imam Rauff is the one claiming he has been getting death threats then why is everyone worried about our safety? The Christian Action Network and several members are getting all kinds of traffic regarding our physical well being about our January 15th press conference and screening of our : Sacrificed Survivors: Untold stories behind the Ground Zero Mosque.

If Imam Rauff feels like he is in danger in the highest population of Muslims in the U.S. how then will he feel when he goes to Florida or Texas? If he is claiming he is getting all of this support from all areas of the country by all of these “Moderates” where oh where is all of the threats of violence coming from? Mmmm ….. his camp of propagandists that’s who. He is looking to garner sympathy and support and THIS is how Creeping Shariah works.

At our screening we will be showing all how they operate and how successful they have been but because of the truly moderate muslim we are learning about the way they behave from those from the inside. Without those moderate Muslims we will not have a chance. This is another reason we are not about hate or painting the Muslim people with a broad brush. They love the Freedoms and Liberties of this Nation as much as any patriot.
