9/11 Hard Hat Pledge Founder Andy Sullivan calls on NYC Department of Buildings to Inspect Ground Zero Mosque’s Non-Existent Permits

New York, New York–Andy Sullivan, founder of the  9/11 Hard Hat Pledge was an eyewitness to the World Trade Center attacks.  After seeing the first plane hit he successfully evacuated all of his construction crew.  His one regret from that day is “not knowing that the first girl I ever loved was working at Cantor Fitzgerald.  I could have saved her.”

Mr. Sullivan, a lifelong construction worker and a member of New York’s largest construction union is an expert on New York City construction compliance.  Andy  has been researching the building permits for the proposed Ground Zero Mosque.  According to Mr. Sullivan’s research, “that building is being illegally occupied. You cannot issue any type of Certificate of Occupancy either permanent or temporary without an inspection of the premises.”  During the 9/11 terrorist attacks the building was damaged when the landing gear from one of planes landed on it causing damage.  “Work has been done on that site since 9/11, yet there is no record of inspection since this work was completed, ” says Sullivan.   Without the necessary permits and inspections Mr. Sullivan states that “No one can be sure that this building that is illegally being used to hold services is safe.  There are real concerns for the safety of those occupying this building illegally.”

Sullivan discovered, “the last work permit filed for the location was filed in 2000.  That permit was for installation of air conditioner units.”  Department of Building records show that there have been no additional permits issued since 2000.  Sullivan asks, ” What about all the damaged that occurred from the landing gear?”  “Work to repair the damage done by the landing gear has been done without  permits.”

According to Sullivan, in order for this site to meet Department of Building requirements, “all work done without permits has to be taken down and removed.  They need to start over from scratch under the strict supervision of the DOB.”  Sullivan wonders why the DOB is ignoring the lack of  proper permits.

“This site would be shut down if it was any other entity in the this city.  Tremendous fines would be levied against any other project.  I believe that Mayor Bloomberg is in cahoots with the DOB and figures no one with construction expertise has scrutinized the work permits, ” states hard hat Andy Sullivan.

Why is the Ground Zero Mosque allowed to hold services when they do not have a Certificate of Occupancy. The last C of O they had was issued to them  in 1989 and it was categorized as a retail space not a prayer space or Mosque.

When I looked into their construction activities I noticed that in 2000 of January they filed for a work permit to install 2 air conditioning units on the 2nd floor. A year later the 911 attacks occur and the building is damaged from the landing gear crashing through its’ roof and the interior of the building. Amazingly they do not file to do any work or repairs or if they do they do it illegally.

Now if you had an unfinished basement and decided to fix it up and turn it into a rental property you would have to file for a work permit to perform these tasks and when you were done with all of the work it would need to be inspected. If everything passed inspection then you would be issued a temporary C of O until the space was finished a 100%  and then upon final inspection if all is well you would be issued a C of O.

That’s the legitimate way of doing construction in NYC. Now if someone saw you doing work and knew you didn’t file and decided to rat you out to the Building Department they would come down look at the space and make you take the entire job apart and bring the whole thing to it’s original condition regardless of the money you spent which could easily been in the 30 or 40 thousand mark Ouch!

As I write this the Cordoba Initiative is operating this space as a Mosque. It has not performed any work on it according to the Building Department and certainly hasn’t applied for permits or their C of O. This is not legal. If this was you or me we would be thrown in jail. Why then do they let this group circumvent all of our rules and laws.

Mayor Bloomberg I know you have lofty aspirations on your ego resume( White House appointment or W H run and surely the Shariah Financing must be quite interesting to you as well) but for the love of God are you going to let these people do whatever the Hell they want? Enough is Enough! this is why there is a Tea Party this is why a Republican sits in Teddy’s seat in Mass. This is why Paladino is breathing down your boys’ back ( Andrew Cuomo) this is why Christine O’Donell is taking Delaware -this is why B Boxer is toast -this is why Harry Reid’s own son will not use his own name in campaign adds- this is why we all must get out there and vote in November. God Bless America and all my fellow Blue Collars who are either working twice as hard and making less or looking for work period. Fear not help is on the way.

The great people of the Tea Party nation -wide have reached out to me and other Anti-Mosque advocates to lend their support. Even though I am a loyal Tea Party member I did not mix the two for fear of blurring the focus they have honed with their smaller government fiscal responsibility message. Well to my surprise and great satisfaction many have come out to lend their energy.

Lou Dobbs who we all know as a fiscal conservative hawk is also completely against this awful mockery of Ground Zero and it’s dark figures who are in charge of the project.

Tapes now have surfaced of Imam Feisal Rauff thinking his mic was no longer recording talking about how Hamas will make great contributions to his Sharia implementation and how the attacks of 911 actually helped to expedite his plan of setting up a Sharia system in all phases of American life. This Mosque issue has become a rallying point I believe. This is the middle class at its wits end. Enough is Enough! We refuse to take anymore of this entitlement and political correctness nonsense that is now responsible for the spilling of American blood. Politicians you are all on watch. Regardless of the letter in front of your name this Tea Party will act as a giant Political Cat Scan. Identifying the malignant pieces and instead of cutting them out we will vote them out.

I did not recognize the relation of the 2 events. To me the D.C. Rally was a wonderfully positive gathering of citizens who were looking to maybe reset the moral compus and make people aware of the intertwined condition that exist with government and religion. Even with our protection of seperation of church and state the 2 will always be wrapped up ineach others genetic code.

Oct. 2nd Mr. Beck will give the Tea Party the honor of him speaking at a major Tea Party event in Great Adventure. This is expected to draw tens of thousands of grassroots American activists who have had enough of this runaway government and it’s total icing out of the middle class of the national conversation concerning legislative issues.

Stimulus, Health Care, Immigration and the rapid growth of government and the total decimation of the private sector. These are some of the factors that bring us together.  As seen in this tell tale primary we are no longer “Silent” we will be heard and if it doesn’t happen at a Town Hall then it will happen at a voting booth.

Bill Haney of the Ocean County Tea Party was the organizer of this big tent event and even yours truly will get a chance to share the stage with some amazing people such as Tea Party 365 founder and Director: David Webb who will be MC’ing the event. Judge Andrew Napolitano from FOX NEWS will also be speaking along with Andrew Wilkow, Steve Malzberg and Charlie Payne. What a great call to arms of patriots. The response to the 911 Hard Hat Pledge has been great. I wasn’t preparedfor the participation to go from nation-wide to global. People from Ireland, England, Germany and Canada has been just as impressive. So to accommodate we started a postcard campaign where you can actually send a post card to a politician who is pro-Mosque and let him know that you ARE NOT!

At first I really didn’t think it was such a great idea until it hit the internet. There seems to be a hunger to let our elitist “Ruling Class” know that we are not happy and they will be hell to pay come voting time. The GZ Mosque issue has transcended to all aspects of our American life.

Our Slumlord Imam Rauff who dismisses the area as Ground Zero and who wraps himself in our freedoms to conduct business without scrutiny or without paying taxes is growing more and more arrogant. He is stalling under the guidance of our political leaders no doubt foolishly thinking that this will disappear as the election cycle passes. Bad call. See Tea Party Power!

As all the political pundits scramble to judge the upcoming races and fear for their jobs I am enjoying that aspect of it I must admit but for Congress to actually get together in our poor financial shape and vote themselves raises sickens me.Pelosi and her swamp have thrived under her rule. I also find it stunning that I know more about that cute little lady in Delaware Christine O’Donnell in 24hrs. than I know about our President in 2 years after being on every media outlet known to mankind every day. Well that’s for another day. So patriots we need you! Let our “Leaders” know where you stand on the GZ Mosque with a postcard. My ideal scene would be the “Miracle on 34street ” courtroom scene when they bring in satchel after satchel of letters to Santa Claus declaring him Santa Claus. I would love to see that on 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. Go get em’ Patriots!

Dr. John Pressman a fellow Brooklynite and friend who runs the Tea Party in my favorite part of the world is having a Rally for the locals to show our elected officials we are asserting  ourselves back into the political conversation. Too long we have sat on our couch and werehappy enough with the status quo until some radical changes started to occur.

 Suddenly work started to become scarce. People who got involved in these Jumbo Mortgages were beginning to fall behind and eventually lost them. Seniors who were living on a fixed income started to see their nest eggs begin to crack and bleed. Before you knew it the “Ruling Class” were spending all of our money to bail out the very entities that were taking our homes. As the job market became more and more bleak Washington and all of its’ non- wisdom just started to throw vast amounts of our tax dollars at a fix called ….Stimulus. The only thing this pig stimulated was unemployment. As the unemployment hit 10% Barry, Nancy and Harry thought it wise to do government Health Care. Yeah! that’ll bring some jobs back…NOT!  We are going to cover 30 million more residents and the price of Health Care will go down? WTF. Of those 30 million you know there will be a huge swath of illegals in that mix which brings up another gem of legislation: Immigration. Arizona wants to enforce a federal law but Barry says no if we can’t do it no one else should either. Brewer the Governor says jam it Barry my state is the kidnapping capital of the world and I’m protecting them so he brings the whole state up on charges. What a leader.

Still with all that terrible legislating nothing was more egregious than the blessings given to the Cordoba Initiative to open a Triumphant Mosque right on top of the ashes of our dead loved ones and this my friends is when people of sound minds bellow: ” Enough is Enough”! We let this atrocity get built what in the name of sweet Jesus is next? I shudder to think. Something I learned very early in life is the more S..it you eat from people the more they will shove it down your throat. So Sept. 19th at 3pm on the 69th street peir we will be gathering for a Rally to stop the Governmental Blob that is consuming and stifiling  all that is good and creative and inspires growth and investment. Time for the grown ups to start running things again you kids have stripped the gears and it’s time for an overhaul. Get Out! Is it November yet?

P.S. The response of the 911 Hard Hat Pledge has been so great that people who are not tradesman are interested to contribute. First off I would like to apologize to all. I did not plan on being there. This day for me is usually one where I put the sword down to mourn my loved ones and pray for others and our military who are risking their lives overseas as I write this. However after I was notified about how many of you out of staters were showing up that day at Ground Zero and wanted to sign the 911 Hard Hat Pledge in person I felt obligated to be there.

Looking back it was the right move. Some of the people I met were indeed salt of the earth Americans very much like the great people I met down in D.C. during the Beck Rally.

You know they are many crimes here that are taking place against those family members and survivors of that day and they are ones of the heart. The powers that be got together and had a hooray for US party on Tuesday (Bloomberg , Patterson, Shelly Silver, Larry Silverstein and Chris Ward of the Port Authority) they were all basking in the progress LOL that is being made on Ground Zero WTF? They plant a few trees and they’re ready to start giving each other awards.

Americans listen up my friends it was THEM who all along were delaying this project either out of blatant apathy or some selfish interest. Right at Ground Zero we reconstructed the Winter Garden in the space of a few months to pristine shape. At the party to re-open the Garden I stood on the Grand Ballroom Staircase with Pataki, Guliani and Bloombergand all promised as we looked at the still smoldering crater of death across the street that this would be back to her former glory in a couple of years. LIARS! Now I know we have had a serious turnover in Governors but Bloomberg has been there all along. Did you know we built his entire ridiculous building with spiral escalators ( Only 2 in the world) and his building takes up an entire city block? Here’s another couple of projects you might be familiar with: AOL Towers, Yankee Stadium, Goldman Headquarters, Bank of America, J.P. Morgan Chase and 7 World Trade Center. That’s just the ones off the top of my head.

We again were hijacked again just like 9 years ago. Today was supposed to be a day of mourning for us but instead we had to protest this hurtful Cordoba Initiative Project of building a mosque right in the heart of Ground Zero. I do think it just as terrible the fact that we have not built our Towers back to their former glory. Look at the enemy they are right in front of us.

In all fairness to the Rally yesterday. The reports are biased. I’m guessing there was 2 to 3 thousand Anti- Mosque citizens there and the Pro- Mosque was less than half of that. Pam Geller and I don’t see eye to eye but the people were great and the speakers were real and polished so once again the media bends forever left.

Coming up on the 19th we have Brooklyn Tea Party at 3pm rocking it at the 69st pier Anti- Mosque and Anti- Tax and Spend Enough is Enough I’m as mad as Hell and FUGHEDDABOUTID! That’s a fight in my schoolyard. God Bless.
