How short our memory is or more appropriately how soon big media forgets those magic moments when our Indonesian schooled Muslim President actually lets the truth leave his lips.

During one of his Vaudevillian “ Town Halls” a woman who must have slipped through the screeners asked a great question about her 95 year old mother. It went something like this…” Mr. Obama my mother is 95 years old and enjoys a wonderful quality of life” the crowd erupts in applause the President included…” When she was 90 she received a pacemaker under your plan would you also approve such a move at her advanced age? Suddenly the warm and fuzzy feeling left the room and there was a grim reality looming. In a flash of honesty Obama says: “ No we have to deal with certain realities that relate to end of life care. We would make sure she would be comfortable but not an expensive and risky operation such as a pacemaker operation. In your mother’s case we would just give her a pill for the pain” the woman pleaded! But what about her zest for life and her excellent physical condition other than her heart? Once again the President repeated his initial statement.

Where the heck were the conservative P.R. staff splashing this all over the T.V.?

Another missed opportunity is the unholy marriage of Health Care and the I.R.S. That velociraptor Pelosi claimed this Satanic document was going to create 400,000 jobs. Well we know it certainly increases the ranks of the I.R.S. by 16,000 new agents. You getting that warm and fuzzy feeling yet? These creatures will now determine if you have the proper amount of insurance and fine you if you don’t and if you become a Health Care scofflaw you will be incarcerated. Yahhhh! For this historic bill……

Another anomaly concerning the White House and its’ brief flashes of truth. This one came from the loveable hair transplant victim Vice Joe Biden. This is a big F#&*ng deal. Indeed it is my vulgar foot in mouth Vice President.

For 30 years I have worked in construction. During that time because of the nature of the business sometimes work would come in waves. The good busy times were great but when the cycle turned and the work would dry up I always had work in the bars and restaurants that I worked in as a boy. Luckily I had a good rep for being a dependable hard worker with good people skills and genuinely enjoyed the interaction but of course it was the cash that kept me coming back. Today work is awful. All the money entities are scared to death of Obama and his reckless spending , borrowing and foisting of trillion dollar entitlements. The largest cash cows in NYC are taking their money and going underground. Maybe you heard of them Goldman Sachs, Citibank, J P Morgan Chase, Bank of America and our dear mayor Mr. Bloomberg. Even New York’s real estate king Donald Trump has pulled back.

I know this not because I read about it but because these giants are clients of the company I work for so for all my very liberal followers sorry you cannot challenge it I’m living it.

As the liberals have this nervous arrogance about themselves due to their very short-lived victory of the Health Care takeover their own supporters are confronting them. I was listening to the radio show done by Ed Shultz a liberal talker who has a Olberman type style to his show where he only lets people who agree with his leftist beliefs talk. The other day he got blindsided by a fellow out west who clearly was a ardent supporter of the bill until he realized that his small business was about to take a 10% hit. He pleaded with Ed ” this could put me out of business what will I do Ed”? What was the response big Ed the liberal lump have to say to his fellow progressive? ” No free lunches here”  ” you got to suck it up” ” I’m in the top 2% and with the dropping of the Bush tax cuts and the medicare tax I’m going to be paying thousands extra”. How charming. This is how you talk to the people who supported you….imagine the rest of us who do not bend at the altar of this community organizer and how we will be treated.

I felt much better that it was reported that Fidel Castro applauded our Health Care takeover AND the democrats voted down a republican provision to restrict viagra from rapists, pedophiles and sex offenders. After all, heaven forbid the sex criminals don’t get their dose of stiff civil rights.

I was witness to some of the most horrific behavior I have ever seen. While walking by Central Park in Manhattan I noticed a large group of people with signs chanting something about killing! Being a good citizen I cautiously approached the rowdy gang of individuals. What I saw was shocking. I have been a New Yorker most of my life and thought I was immune to the most violent acts a human was capable of. Nothing I have done or saw could have prepared me for this.

These monsters were throwing objects at the pigeons who were so panicked by the assault that they were milling about crazily. As I investigated the weapons these members were throwing at these defenseless birds I noticed they had taken ordinary bread and turned it into deadly pieces of yeast shrapnel. These weren’t kids they were older adults. One of the participants was armed with a homemade toxic dirty bomb or code word : colostomy bag. As I stood frozen in fear the leader of the group slammed me with a walker and began questioning me. She pulled out a black disc and told me to have one. I stared at this disc of death knowing my demise is near I must make a move. Suddenly like a ninja I rip the poison from granny’s bony claw and I ram it down her throat her reflex was that of a boxer. She bites down on my hand I scream! Other members notice the melee and start to help their leader. When I look down at my hand I realize she has me trapped with some sort of clamp on my hand that resembles teeth. I’m obviously dealing with pros.

What to do? It’s right then I realize my salvation. In my backpack I take out the complimentry matinee tickets for a special showing of Bridges of Madison County. I start to show them the tickets and in an instant their thirst for blood is quenched. The whole angry mob goes docile oohs and ahhhs circulate the group. Amazingly the clamp on my hand releases itself and falls into the hand of one of their foot soldiers. The leader of the group begins to pass out the tickets amongst the crowd and in an almost ritualistic type of gratitude they put their hands on my face as gentle as a child and pinches it. Whew! thank God for that part-time job at the movie theatre. BTW you just met the run of the mill Tea Party members. Scary huh?

Well it’s the law of the land. Our country has just taken a giant step towards the shackles of Socialism. Get ready the new costly tickets that those of us in the cities despise soon will be replaced by the new traffic agents. The only difference is you will be getting ticketed by IRS agents and it will be for either lack of insurance or not the proper amount of coverage which the IRS will now determine.

Oh you didn’t know that? Besides taxing us six ways to Sunday we are also going to be hounded by the IRS not just on tax issues but on your health coverage. Didn’t that botox filled cadaver with her bony claws make you aware of the fact that this bill will actually create jobs? Sixteen thousand IRS agents whose sole purpose will be to gather revenue by fining you or arresting you and making you pay the fine to get out of jail. You honestly didn’t think Princess Pelosi and King Obama were going to cover 32 million people by waving her gigantic magic gavel did you?

This is just a fraction of the evil that lurks within the Health Care Bill. Remember in the words of our surgically altered Speaker” we wont know what’s in the bill until we pass it”Vintage Pelosi. I have never looked forward to November so much in my entire life. My whole life-force will be dedicated to voting people in who will work their tail off to repeal this unconstitutional evil document. I hope you join me.

This night had a little bit of everything. It gave you a chance to talk to our defenders of our nation and personally thank them for putting their lives on the line for our freedoms that so many of us take for granted and to honor the ones who have fallen on behalf of this great nation. Even though our inept President cannot even pronounce corpsman properly with all his intellect and ivy league status please remember that the citizens of this nation DO respect you and are extremely thankful. The King of New York attended Donald Trump with his lovely wife and the Master of ceremonies was none other than Mr. Guardian Angels himself Curtis Sliwa.

Boy can the man in the beret give a helluva speech. He has taken alot in his personal life and always has come out of it with his principles intact. It isn’t often the man in red is given his due. Now currently at the mike on the morning drive at 970 WOR Curtis takes on the issues of the day with that workman-like perspective. Being politically active as I am I always see Curtis at the important rallys and when asked is the first to get up and gin up the troops. He has taken on everything from the Gambino Crime Family to The Building Trades and has always behaved with bravery and poise.

It was so great to hear the Lt. Dan Band. These guys were playing all my songs. My girlfriend (who is much younger than I ) didn’t know most of the tunes he was covering but those tunes brought me back. As my mind wondered during the songs and being surrounded by all these military “toys of war” it really impacts you and suddenly it becomes real for you. People are on foreign soil and are losing their lives. So when the Commander N Chief fails to pronounce the rank “Corpsman”not once or twice but 4x it puts a knot in my gut for these kids that the man in charge of the entire country thinks so little of them. That’s for another day and another blog.

Another person who has been in the news as of late was there was Debra Burlingame. She has been a warrior princess against the possiblity of putting KSM and Co. on trial in civilian court in downtown Manhattan with all the rights that you and I now have. Debra lost a brother in the attacks and ever since has fought for the rights of 911 families everywhere. She is a beautiful woman in and out of the public eye and it was great to see her.

visit to France as stated below. She has yet to accompany him to any Arab

I was at a Blockbusters renting videos, and as I was going along the wall,
there was a video called “Obama”. There were two men next to me. We talked
about Obama. These guys were Arabs and I asked them why they thought
Michele Obama headed home following her visit in France instead of
traveling on to Saudi Arabia and Turkey with her husband. They told me
she couldn’t go to Saudi Arabia , Turkey or Iraq . I said “Laura Bush
went to Saudi Arabia , Turkey and Dubai .”

They said that Obama is a Muslim, and by Muslim law he would not be
allowed to bring his wife into countries that accept Sharia Law. I just
thought it was interesting that two Arabs at Blockbusters accept the idea
that we’re being led by a Muslim who follows the Islamic creed.

They also said that’s the reason he bowed to the King of Saudi Arabia . It
was a signal to the Muslim world..

Have you wondered why Barack Hussein Obama has insisted that the U.S.
Attorney General hold the trials for the 911 Murdering Muslims Terrorists
in Civilian Courts as Common Criminals instead of as Terrorists who

have to sign the death warrants for the Muslim Terrorists? Why would he,
as President of the United States , not want to sign the death warrants for

innocent United States Citizens on 9/11? Could it be that he is FORBIDDEN

Attention United States elected officials! You work for us. Remember? No I don’t think you do. You have been pushing an agenda that the majority of the populace does not want. The administration is focused like “ A Laser” on their legacy and their ability to govern rather than fixing what’s broke.

Do you not see the signs? When you can’t even get your own party to agree on its’ passage guess what ? That’s a sign.

When you have to sequester congress and hold them hostage until they take this sick piece of legislation and against the will of the people pass it- that’s a sign.

When the speaker of the House says” we wont know what’s in the bill until we pass it”- major sign.

Every time the President speaks on the topic (which by the way is 438 speeches, 48 interviews and the constant barrage of commercials and paid to attend rallies)support for it erodes even more- that’s a sign.

Where will all the other world leaders receive their health care now? Once we put this gigantic piece of legislation into the hands of government it will not take long before the wheels come off this bus. It wasn’t too long ago when the government seized a brothel in Nevada and within less than a year they were out of business.  Or even more recently the Pentagon use to run its’ own cafeteria until it started to lose so much money and the quality of the food was so horrendous they had to farm it out to the private sector. Food and sex 2 things Americans need and want and the government failed miserably on both counts so now let them have our Health Care. I don’t want to hear about the fact that there is no public option or single payer. This bill is the fetus for single payer. When the government starts mandating legislation concerning your health care it’s over – single payer here we come.

Obama, Pelosi and Reid just to let you know -we can’t eat Health Care- we can’t pay the rent with Health Care- we can’t buy clothes with Health Care-we can’t put gas in the car with Health Care-we can’t pay the phone, cable, water and electric bills with Health Care. Most importantly we can’t afford Health Care and that is the theme that has gotten lost in this whole debate.

Guess what? If you have a JOB you can do all those other things. Pres. Obama :” If you like your doctor and your Health Care coverage you can keep it” No you can’t. Not according to this Health Care bill.

Two mornings ago I have had a glimpse into the future and it don’t look so good. Whatever disaster they pass this health care legislation will increase the power of the most notorious American entity the world has known: The I.R.S.

Five a.m. I go to get into my truck one morning to go to work to find a team of official looking men securing my vehicle onto a city tow truck. As I shake the cobwebs from my still groggy brain I see a man operating a laptop with a look of glee on his face. I approach the man with a demeanor of someone who is used to dealing with city employees knowing full well not to get loud or threatening it will only make things worse. I meekly ask the man “why are you towing my truck”? He responds ” you owe 382 dollars in parking tickets” my first reaction was nervous laughter and knew he couldn’t be serious to which he responded” yeah seriously”

Now anyone from N.Y. knows an amount like that means 3 tickets at the most and as the reality sets in I say to him “can I pay them right now”? “Sure “he responds. I take out my bank card and he tells me No! only cash. I don’t have that on me in cash what about a credit card? Cash only he says. I say to him “ok I’ll go up to 711 and get some cash and be right back” he says” we already got her on the hitch we have to tow it back to the reconciliation yard” ( notice the name of the yard? how ironic)” Fine, I’ll give you the cash when we get back to the yard “he says” your total will be 687 dollars” What? you told me that it was 382 dollars ” he responds” yeah the extra is the towing fee”

Five am I’m already down 700 dollars that I can’t afford to pay but must to do my job. Then a grim vision comes to me: It’s common knowledge that the city is going bankrupt and they’re taxing everything on Gods’ green earth. When  this federal mandate to purchase insurance goes into effect and they start to ticket people who don’t have insurance if those tickets aren’t paid they will be check points of agents who will probably work for the I.R.S. and you will be screened just like DWI check points or better still they’ll come to your house as you’re having dinner with your family and demand payment and God forbid you don’t have it they will drag you out of your own house in front of your loved ones as I’m sure the children will be scarred for life.

This is it. This will be only one of the ways we will pay for this monstrosity I shudder to think of the other methods by which they are planning to bleed us. It’s a good thing they’re focusing like a laser on jobs, jobs, jobs. That stimulus plan really worked. I finally know what it stimulated : Unemployment.

Well it looks like I got my 15 minutes and it only took 30 seconds. It made my day being on T.V. and all – but at the end of the segment you will see Chris Ward not give one inch in the way of concession to Silverstein and as long as this pissing match continues the work will not.

What we need is a governor to come in here and take over. Not someone who is going to look to make sure every square foot of space is rented before they build which never happens in private real estate but someone who sees these towers as symbols of our way of life. Oh yeah almost forgot someone who is not a lying whoremaster using his or her office to glean free tickets for ball games or to whine about every blessed thing that comes across their desk.

It would be nice also if they didn’t obstruct justice especially in matters of domestic violence.

Hey how about all that stimulus money that was suppossed to go to shovel-ready projects or maybe I misunderstood what it was they were actually shoveling.

What a day. Great weather and a great turnout. The media showed in full force and yours truly made it on to Channel 7 Eyewitness News.

After getting over the fact how old I looked I took a step back to see what the general mood was amongst the rank and file. This crowd of big burly fellows were extremely well behaved. In fact they looked very concerned almost scared of what this very unstable economy of ours is going. When I spoke of local leadership they were no words of frustration or malice but more of pleading to get things moving.

I have been in construction for 30 years and to be honest I expected some rowdyness or at the very least some vulgarity but to my surprise it was more like shell-shock. That look a soldier gets after a battle makes him see and do things he thought he would never do. Alot of these fellows are at the end of their finacial rope and they need a lifeline and a project such as the one Ground Zero could provide would do the trick.

There was talk of “we are all around the world fixing and building other nations but here at home we can’t even get our own act together to fix something that to this day haunts us” Another very telling sign was one that stated ( Delay means Defeat) How can we truly win these wars we are fighting if we cannot heal on our own shores?

Working in surrounding buildings we get a great overview of exactly what’s going on in Ground Zero and from the looks of it not much. Hopefully this was not some political showpiece for the local pols who turned out in real force.

Gary Barbar the head of the Building Trades was very effective in his MC’ ing of the event. We had congressman King, Meeks, Weiner, council speaker Christine Quinn along with councilman Dan Halloran and 2 people which I never thought would share a stage together Larry Silverstein from Silverstein Properties owner of the project and Chris Ward the head of the Port Authority neither spoke but it was a start. Lets see if this bold action recieves any positive reaction the blue collar workers of this city could definately use the jobs and as everyone knows when construction workers are busy so is everyone. We alone could jump start an entire economy with our tastes for the big ticket items ( Houses, Cars, vacations and nice resturants)
