Obama’s Cap & Trade Scheme

With all the talk around town centering on health care lately, I have heard little on the looming Cap & Trade tax scheme. It would be naivety for me to believe this final “nail in the coffin” of the American middle class will just go away… if anything, it is waiting like the proverbial hammer to strike its nefarious blow. In case you haven’t noticed, our “Dear Leader” is poised to sign what amounts to a hybrid of the Kyoto treaty, going by the alias of operation “Copenhagen”. So what does it mean for us?

By now you have witnessed the greatest blitz of propaganda to save the penguins from boiling to death, in the name of Al Gore’s world-gone-wild version of an apocalyptic global warming doomsday (Antarctica is actually gaining ice each year). This was only the front for Obama and Emanuel to seize yet another golden crisis, claiming penguins will soon invade the tropics! All joking aside, I believe the only joke is this entire surreal nightmare, drummed up in the name of control.

Oh, but wait! Don’t you want the earth to be green? Sure I do… just not in the context of driving our economy into the ground and subjugating our entire population to the whim of some one-world guru. I, for one, don’t want to see our wealth, as a nation, be relegated to third world status overnight in the guise of energy credits (The Federal Reserve has been doing a pretty good job of robbing us as it is). Obama and his puppet masters claim this must be done in the name of globalization! If he signs this treaty in Copenhagen, sometime in the near future, I surely will have no doubt about which side he is on… not ours.

Folks, we can go green without this Godzilla style frenzy. Enable entrepreneurs to apply their ideas in a tax free environment, take the reigns off of them by getting rid of government regulations, and let free market competition provide for a clear winner. Hey, this might actually create jobs in alternative energy. Hey, in the conversion period to solar, fusion, or what ever, we can actually tap into plenty of oil right here… and create jobs! I know we will run out of oil one day, let’s do this without doubling the price of energy in the name of Al Gore’s ego or Obama’s world image as master of apologies. What’s next Mr. Obama? Are you claiming our farmers are wasting too much energy? We’re not as dumb as you think… especially when we notice the last loaf of bread on the shelf.
