Cloudy With A Chance of Unemployment

October 30th, 2009 No comments

I love hearing good news about people I’m fond of. In many respects I feel like I’m participating in their good fortune and at some point  I always feel like soon that will be me. Some call it fate, karma or divine intervention. I’m a big fan of the latter. I truly do feel sorry  for people who are so bankrupt spiritually that they question the existence of a higher power. God knows just being above ground some days is a victory. Then comes a moment your little one rides her bike for the first time or your oldest one tells you he won an election for vice President in his school and those nuggets of pure joy lets you know you played a roll in both of those things and the look of accomplishment on their faces makes you fight back the tears of pride. At that moment I know God not only exists but thrives in all our lives

In times we live in it’s these moments that pull me through the bad. We are currently under siege by this runaway government and it’s ever increasing tax burdens which in turn automatically diminishes our choice, liberties and our freedoms. Liberals don’t see it like that. Especially those at the end of the strings that pull this giant theft off. These academic elites think they know what’s good for us and we should just shut up and take our medicine. Of course it’s not their money they spend it’s the tax payer. Take Michael Moore he makes a movie that slams capitalism yet nobody I know has the kind of fortune this guy has all because of capitalism. Imagine if somebody told this guy he couldn’t eat the way he wanted? Well if he doesn’t eat himself into a coma he might live long enough to see that day come because just like a vampire you invite him into your house he can come and go as he pleases.

I’m in construction and the market is awful right now. I don’t need some harvard economist to tell me about job loss or growth I know it before these fools do. You want to know what the job market is going to look like a year from now? Talk to a tradesman most of our jobs are planned a year in advance and if companies aren’t building they are not growing and if they are not growing they are not hiring and if they ain’t hiring they ain’t no jobs.

Sorry to end on a low note but I’m an eternel optimist and I know things look bad but I believe the Contractor in the sky will not let us down. America will thrive again not because of this fool community organizer but in spite of him!

Good Luck and God Bless

Lazio / Client and candidate #1 for Gov Luv

October 29th, 2009 No comments

Rick Lazio a 4 term congressman and Hilary’s old nemesis came into Queens tonight for the GOP Candidate Night. Many impressive players showed but none shined brighter than our man Dan Halloran. Always a spirited speaker with an actual plan and not a bunch of empty platitudes Dan has been working his tail off but tonight was different he was explosive. The energy in the room was contagious. It was that odd combination of zeal and purpose and even though  Dan was the lightening rod  it felt like a spiritual connection between everyone in the room. It’s impossible to be objective around this guy he’s just one of us.

This race represents the groundswell of outrage that has touched every American who works hard to provide for their family, Worship their God and pay their taxes. What monsters we are.

We got a sweet piece of gossip from Mr. Lazio. Looks like his sights are set on the Governor’s seat. The plot thickens as Patterson who says he’s still going to make a run going against  the will of our community organizer when his chosen one is Andrew Cuomo and still not totally out of the race is Rudy Giuliani.

Personally Andy Cuomo has some naughty ties that right now I’m checking out. Something so yummy it might  it might blow his spot up.

Stay tuned my fellow blue collars the truth as we all know sometimes hurts.

Cut and Run

October 27th, 2009 No comments

Instead of just stalling pull everyone out and let the chips fall as they may. It’s obvious you don’t care about the military or the parents and children of these fine patriots who put their lives on the line every day while your doing talk shows playing golf and basketball and your endless campaigning of your nonsense radical ever-growing government hell bent on your redistributive change of wealth.

O.K. I will cease my efforts to crush every marxist move you make if you pull the troops out of Afghanistan and return them to their families. You don’t give a damn about them the country and certainly not victory. The deaths are piling up worse then ever and your stumping for your dead wood governors.

The blood is on your hands you coward. What the hell kind of man leaves those young men and women on the field of battle unprotected. John Kerry, when did he pick up the Carter torch of gutless incompetence? God talk about history repeating itself.

You have accomplished one thing in your pathetic dangerous term Barry, that is you’ve managed to do something that only Regean did and that is unite the conservatives. The republicans couldn’t do it but thanks to your lies weakness and just plain inexperience you have awoken the masses and you my dear community organizer are on your way to one term. Thank God!

Another Big Dog for Dan

October 25th, 2009 3 comments

It’s very interesting how much attention this campaign is getting considering the level of government ( councilman ) but don’t tell any of his supporters that. To them this might as well be for the President of the United States of America.

Another heavyweight politician came out today district 22 Senator Marty Golden. Now I have a soft spot in my heart for Senator Golden he presides over my old stomping ground in Bay Ridge Brooklyn and out there he’s just Marty. He came into the headquarters of Dan Halloran and lit the place up. Ginning up the crowd into a fever pitch with good conservative principals something that the republican party sometimes seem to bend on but not on that Bayside office. Conservatism is alive and well on 43rd ave. and Belle blvd. Included among them were Thomas Long Queens leader of the conservative party Megan of the St. John’s Young Republican Party and niece  Cassidy and nephew Liam whom call Dan uncle.

What a warm wonderful feeling at the rally but it really had more of a family – block party feel to it where everyone was family and you were a stranger here but once. One supporter who stood out amongst the crowd was a fella named Phil. A real patriot someone who’s been there since the beginning. Rain or shine out there stumping giving out pamphlets and e-mails and phone calls total selflessness all on his own time for a man many have put faith in and in my estimate deservedly so.

There is something else taking place here and this race is transcending beyond the level of councilman and is tapping into that same feeling I got from the Tea Party protests and the D.C. 912 project. The silent majority are no more watch out Kevin Kim a slick democratic machine is no match for heart something Big Dan and his supporters have in spades.

Pataki stumps for Big Dan

October 24th, 2009 1 comment

District 19 race is bringing out some of the country’s blue chip Pols. Former Governor and Presidential candidate George Pataki made a serious cameo at the headquarters of Dan Halloran city councilman candidate. The atmosphere was electric. Belle blvd. was teeming and the gentry were overjoyed. Never have I seen such zeal for a local election.

Correct me if I’m wrong but I honestly think this recent spike in political involvement or activity has to do with the election of President Obama. Love him or hate him he makes you want to jump up and fight for your cause and this interest by the political elite is an example of that.

This Sunday at the Belle blvd. office of Dan Halloran a good friend of mine Marty Golden a Senator of district 22 is jumping on the Halloran Express. This seems so fitting Senator Golden and Dan are very similar creatures. Both are lifetime residents in their respective communities and fight like hell when somebody or some entity try to destroy the fabric of their neighborhoods something that as of late has been on the endangered species list.

Another interesting thing I noticed was the involvement of the local youth in the campaign. At their age they were only 2 things on my mind and I pledge to you neither were politics but I digress. It warms my heart knowing that people are awakening from their political slumber and becoming pro-active in the way government should be involved in their daily lives and if left unfettered they will absorb every element of our liberty if left unchecked.

Let this local race be symbol of what dedication and hard work can do for the community and the individual.

Sometimes we need government to protect ourselves from government and this race embodies those principles.

Let’s Roll Big Dan!

Obama on a FOX Hunt

October 22nd, 2009 2 comments

The only time this community organizer of ours exhibits any sign of a spine is when he is either going after a fellow citizen or ally or a news station that asks challenging questions. Is all this insanity done by design? Instead of concentrating on putting people to work lets extend unemployment benefits so they don’t have to.  Instead of putting people back to work lets use this crisis to get a Public Option on this health care debacle ( option = mandatory  in government-speak ). Instead of giving our military what they need in Afghanistan lets putter around and use Alinsky’s method of diversion by attacking FOX news for being an arm of the republican party.

The first such charge came from the unlovely Anita ( can’t wait till she’s) Dunn communications director of the White House. Famous for her admiration of the mass murdering Mao of whom she looks to in moments of God knows what. Then to complete the devil’s triangle is Axelrod and Rahm Emanuell both on Sunday talk shows  claiming FOX’s bias and constantly telling CNN well they’re not a news outlet like CNN is. That veiled threat says you better behave or you’ll be exorcised out of our precious white house cult.

Meantime the public has spoken and FOX is killing in the ratings giving them more power and credibility then ever while Obama’snumbers continue to tank. Why is Mr. Ivy league making these sophmoric moves? Doesn’t he realize that the FOX demographic includes hordes of moderates the group that put him there? Oh well I’m just a dumb angry red neck racist nazi who breaks his back to provide for his family and pay my taxes. What a monster.

I shudder to think what this nation will look like like in 3 years.

Going Local:Dan Halloran vs. Kevin Kim

October 21st, 2009 6 comments

I know we usually discuss big issues on a national scale but if we indeed want to change the direction this country is going we got to start from the bottom up and the city council is a great place to start.

District 19 has got itself a heated one. One corner a fine hometown boy in the other a new kid on the block. Big Dan has got 5 generations rooted in the community he’s running for and Mr. Kim well he’s got the democratic machine behind him and we all know how great that’s working for us.( that last remark is dripping with sarcasm for those at home not use to my attempt at humor)

Fact remains Dan has a place in his heart for this area that just comes through once you meet him. His lineage is made up of all blue collar guys who just happened to build the majority of the housing that makes up the neighborhood. You know that word neighborhood it represents an endangered species today and big Dan wants to keep it intact while his opponent a commercial real estate lawyer who might not have the noble intentions that Mr. Halloran has makes me question his intentions especially due to the fact the first time he voted was this year.

Overdevelopment, crushing tax burdens and the runaway government a toxic combination to chop up and destroy a wonderful district of vibrant middle class and small business owners.

Mr. Kim has no stake in the game other than giving his party another chip in the power grid. At the other end of the spectrum stands Dan Hollaron former cop, laywer and small business owner whose been here his whole life with his grammar school sweetheart Cynthia with no intentions of going anywhere.

I stroll through district 19 it’s like a living time capsule. Harkening back to a time of stickball and stoopball where fellow residents look out for each other and their kids and block parties were magical. The locals are the salt of the earth and their loyality towards their fellow resident is immovable and everywhere I go big Dan is truly their Man.

Obama’s Cap & Trade Scheme

With all the talk around town centering on health care lately, I have heard little on the looming Cap & Trade tax scheme. It would be naivety for me to believe this final “nail in the coffin” of the American middle class will just go away… if anything, it is waiting like the proverbial hammer to strike its nefarious blow. In case you haven’t noticed, our “Dear Leader” is poised to sign what amounts to a hybrid of the Kyoto treaty, going by the alias of operation “Copenhagen”. So what does it mean for us?

By now you have witnessed the greatest blitz of propaganda to save the penguins from boiling to death, in the name of Al Gore’s world-gone-wild version of an apocalyptic global warming doomsday (Antarctica is actually gaining ice each year). This was only the front for Obama and Emanuel to seize yet another golden crisis, claiming penguins will soon invade the tropics! All joking aside, I believe the only joke is this entire surreal nightmare, drummed up in the name of control.

Oh, but wait! Don’t you want the earth to be green? Sure I do… just not in the context of driving our economy into the ground and subjugating our entire population to the whim of some one-world guru. I, for one, don’t want to see our wealth, as a nation, be relegated to third world status overnight in the guise of energy credits (The Federal Reserve has been doing a pretty good job of robbing us as it is). Obama and his puppet masters claim this must be done in the name of globalization! If he signs this treaty in Copenhagen, sometime in the near future, I surely will have no doubt about which side he is on… not ours.

Folks, we can go green without this Godzilla style frenzy. Enable entrepreneurs to apply their ideas in a tax free environment, take the reigns off of them by getting rid of government regulations, and let free market competition provide for a clear winner. Hey, this might actually create jobs in alternative energy. Hey, in the conversion period to solar, fusion, or what ever, we can actually tap into plenty of oil right here… and create jobs! I know we will run out of oil one day, let’s do this without doubling the price of energy in the name of Al Gore’s ego or Obama’s world image as master of apologies. What’s next Mr. Obama? Are you claiming our farmers are wasting too much energy? We’re not as dumb as you think… especially when we notice the last loaf of bread on the shelf.

Health Care for Dummies/ You Know Who You Are

October 18th, 2009 6 comments

I don’t mean to insult anybody I just want to point a few things out on the eve of the governments single  most gargantuan take over of a huge block of private industry and of personal choice.  I personally am opposed to the present solution of health care reform and that doesn’t mean I’m receiving compensation from the private insurance industry or that I work for FOX or that I am a racist. I know President Whiner would have you believe that but  no that’s not the case sorry Barry I know how hard you’re trying to turn us into a banana republic.

All one has to do is ask some stunningly simple questions:

Do any of the bills cover the whole population? Answer    NO

If I’m an average income earner ( less than 250,000 per year) will it cost me more?  YES

Will this hinder the quality of care given to us?   YES

Do  any of these bills increase the power of  government ( the I.R.S. especially) HELL YES!

Are you frustrated at the fact that the people who vote on these bills and make them laws are not subjected to them? ABSOLUTELY YES!

The numbers on this albatrose are  absurd. Did you know one trillion seconds is over 31 thousand years?  That alone is staggering. If we just took all the money we are going to spend on this atrocity and just outright bought insurance for the uninsured we would have money left over and everyone would be covered. Not that I support that but if the governments purpose was to cover these people that would surely do it.

It just goes to show you the government doesn’t give a #<>”=%$ about medical care. The end game for them is control. You, Me and the rest of the populace under their thumb and this bill is one giant leap to that end God Help us.

Cowardice or Naivety?

October 14th, 2009 No comments

Obama abandons the missile shield in Poland in hopes of gaining good favor with Russia so maybe they’ll participate in strong sanctions against Iran in its quest for nuclear weapons. Boy I bet the vodka was flowing that night.

There response was typical Ruskie. Stall them while we make fun of big ears and secretary of paints suit and their total lack of big game politics. Clinton has been talking about retirement it seems like she already has. I thought she had more experience then our community organizer and his postage stamp resume I guess I was wrong or she just doesn’t care. I don’t know which is worse.

He certainly sucks Internationally or Domestically and as far as a human being goes the only words that come to me are:  Yellow, Weak, Spineless, Narcissistic and Arrogant.

What he really excels in is bullying it’s the only act he does where he gives the illusion of having guts.

Obama’s favorite bully targets:  Bush, Bush, Bush and Bush but that’s more like whining the real bully hit list is :  FOX, Rush, Palin, Cheney, C.I.A. Military, Israel, Honduras, Columbia, Talk Show Hosts fr0m the right, any company that turns a profit and finally the one thing that irks our President more than any other …… FREEDOM!

Strange times we live in where our leader is Anti- American. Is it 2012 yet?
