Cloudy With A Chance of Unemployment
I love hearing good news about people I’m fond of. In many respects I feel like I’m participating in their good fortune and at some point I always feel like soon that will be me. Some call it fate, karma or divine intervention. I’m a big fan of the latter. I truly do feel sorry for people who are so bankrupt spiritually that they question the existence of a higher power. God knows just being above ground some days is a victory. Then comes a moment your little one rides her bike for the first time or your oldest one tells you he won an election for vice President in his school and those nuggets of pure joy lets you know you played a roll in both of those things and the look of accomplishment on their faces makes you fight back the tears of pride. At that moment I know God not only exists but thrives in all our lives
In times we live in it’s these moments that pull me through the bad. We are currently under siege by this runaway government and it’s ever increasing tax burdens which in turn automatically diminishes our choice, liberties and our freedoms. Liberals don’t see it like that. Especially those at the end of the strings that pull this giant theft off. These academic elites think they know what’s good for us and we should just shut up and take our medicine. Of course it’s not their money they spend it’s the tax payer. Take Michael Moore he makes a movie that slams capitalism yet nobody I know has the kind of fortune this guy has all because of capitalism. Imagine if somebody told this guy he couldn’t eat the way he wanted? Well if he doesn’t eat himself into a coma he might live long enough to see that day come because just like a vampire you invite him into your house he can come and go as he pleases.
I’m in construction and the market is awful right now. I don’t need some harvard economist to tell me about job loss or growth I know it before these fools do. You want to know what the job market is going to look like a year from now? Talk to a tradesman most of our jobs are planned a year in advance and if companies aren’t building they are not growing and if they are not growing they are not hiring and if they ain’t hiring they ain’t no jobs.
Sorry to end on a low note but I’m an eternel optimist and I know things look bad but I believe the Contractor in the sky will not let us down. America will thrive again not because of this fool community organizer but in spite of him!
Good Luck and God Bless
